my senses are tingled and teased today.
i saw the most beautiful sight. a deep smile of an 82 year old grandmother washing her jacket outside her house, caught by surprise by her granddaughter visiting her from north america.
i heard the most beautiful sound of the muezzin call from a minaret in leh, and when i looked to see where the sound was coming from, it was from a white mosque, set against the backdrop of the leh palace, mud brown against earthy hills and behind that,
milk mountains.
i felt at home when a mother of two, let her older daughter sit on my lap on a local bus,
she wrung her five-year old fingers around my stranger hands.
i felt helpless when my camera couldn't capture what i saw/see. i put it in its rightful case and back in my bag.
now, words are sticking their tongues out at me.
you're not helping, you know.
off home for dinner then.
just bought some veggies.
